I am trying to use a shared drive to duplicate my daily backup jobs. Currently I have a folder on a media server, ServerA, that is being used for backup. I shared this folder and then from my CASO, ServerB, I added the folder as a shared drive. The file backup occurs on ServerA but it does not have a tape drive attached to duplicate the files. I would like to use ServerB to do the duplicate job, is this possible with Backup Exec 11d? I looked through the admin guide and very little is dedicated to shared folders.
FileA -> Shared File folder on ServerA -> Tape on ServerB from shared folder
