Backup Exec Version: 12.0 Rev. 1364
Operating System: Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition, Service Pack 2
Error: "V-79-57344-34110 - AOFO: Initialization failure on \\SERVER6\System?State. Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). VSS Snapshot error. The Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) snapshot provider tha tyou selected doe snot support snap technology for this volume. Select another snapshot provider, and then run the job again."
Details: Currently I have my jobs set to automatically select open file technology. If my memory serves me correctly, it doesn't seem to matter whether I use Symantec, Veritas or Microsoft's open file technology, or even if I turn off AOFO altogether. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

I too am having the same problem. It was suggested to me elsewhere to try decreasing the idle time by one second then re-test. If this still does not work then reduce by one second again and test etc....
However, I am down to 2 seconds and still no success. Has anyone else heard this elsewhere? Has it worked?
