VSS Error

I am receiving a Event ID: 6013, Source: VSS error on a SB2003 Terminal Server. All research indicates a problem with Backup Exec 10d trying to backup a locked MSDE instance. We do have a program that uses an MSDE Instance installed on this server.

However, I have already deselected from the selections list the Shadow Copy Component Service, the entire C:\ drive (which contains the MSDE instance folder AND the program that uses MSDE instance). In fact, there is nothing in the selections list that is selected that even relates to MSDE or MSDE instances.

I have contacted the vendor whose software uses the MSDE instance and they have verified the appropriate directories and backup components related to their instance and software have been correctly de-selected.

This obviously a problem with the Veritas software. Help please!
