Veritas 10.0 Start another backup job after 1st one runs

I would like to run 2 backup jobs each night. The 2nd backup job needs append to first jobs tape after it completes. Hown can I do this? Is it post commands?

Hi,

You want 2nd Job to be started when 1st finishes and append to the same tape?

Considering the time windows of first job you can schedule the second job with append to same device (media with correct media set)

You can also create a post job command to automatically start the second job.
