Hi All
Currently have a ongoing issue where our weekly backup will run for few hours then fail with following error. Any help is much appreciated.
"The job failed with the following error: An invalid command was sent to the storage device. The storage device may no longer be accessible to the operating system. Review the event logs for more information"
We currently perform our weekly backups using Veritas Backup Exec 2016 connected to a HP Ultrium 6-SCSI, server specs are below.
Note we have had this ongoing for a while and have recreated the backup job several times, rebooted windows server & tape drive, Tried different tape drive and tapes. Sometimes after we recreate the backup job and then rerun the backup it works other times it doesn't.
