Veritas Backup exec Agent For Oracle

Hi,

We have a Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS RELEASE 4(UPDATE 8) 2.6.9-89.ELlargesmp #1 SMP . On this server ORACLE DATABASE 10.2.04 (10G REL 2) is installed. We have a Symantic backup exec 11D for windows server installed and the operating system is windows 2003 

Now we have to install Agent for Oracle and want to take backup of Oracle database and also want to how to restore

Can anybody can explain me how to deploy agent step-by-step

Installing backup exec agent for Oracle for Red Hat Linux

You need to add the Remote agent for Oracle license in the BE console and then install remote agent for Linux.

Thanks for your reply but where we have to configure the instance of oracle and user name and password in BE Console server or Linux machine having oracle installed
