I am seeing some very slow Job rates with the nightly backups. It is at about 107 MB/min to about 103 MB/min. It use to be arount 1172 MB/min on 1-27-2009. I am using a Tandberg TS400 with the following config on the device:
Block Size (per Device): 64K
Buffer size (per Device): 64K
Buffer count: 10
High Water Count: 0
Read Single block mode is unchecked
Write single block mode is unchecked
Read SCSI pass-through mode is unchecked
Write SCSI pass-through mode is checked.
All the patches are applied and I have been cleaning the tape drive on a scheduled basis. Any ideas on what could be causing the slow performance?
