Unlike previous versions of BE, to backup any application, e.g. Sharepoint, or database, e.g. Oracle with BE 2012, you would need an Agent for Application and Database licence. However, do make sure that after you have installed the Agent for Application and Database licence, you select the appropriate option, in your case, Oracle. You would need one Agent for Application and Database licence for each machine that you have installed Oracle which you want to back up. This applies whether the machine is virtual or real.
