Hi Stewart,

Please check the compatibility list

http://support.veritas.com/docs/271383

http://support.veritas.com/docs/271382

If your device is listed as tested , please install the latest Veritas driver.

[ VERITAS Backup EXEC (TM) 9,1 - DEVICE Driver Installer (20050115) - Includes Tape Driver release (20041231) and Robotic LIBRARY release (45) (Intel Only)

http://support.veritas.com/docs/273853

If your device is listed as compatible , you must install OEM drivers

http://support.veritas.com/docs/253974

Additionally we would like to know:

1) Do you see any event logs such as 7, 9, 11, 15 in event?

2) Is your Removable Storage Manager Service running? If yes, Please stop it.

3) Update Firmware of SCSI and as well as the SCSI driver

Hope this will help you.

Please revert incase on any doubts.

Thanks.
