I'm trying to do some test restores after getting DFS backup working correctly and I'm running into a wall here. Currently we use BE 12 and restore to an e-SATA HD. The drive hasn't been disconencted since the last backup ran and I'm choosing that most recent backup when trying to restore. When I get to Device and Media, Media or Resource has the 2 backup files, then Media Location is marked Unknown and restore Device/Media server is blank.
Randomly this will work and it will say removable device, but 99% of the time it doesn't. Is there an option I am missing somewhere or a way to trouble shoot his.
