I am trying to setup a Central Administration server (PAWCHBACKUPEX01) in our current environment. We have several Backup Exec 12 media servers. I have setup a new Backup Exec 12.5 server and installed the Central Administration option on it. I can set the central administration server on a media server (NJBRIMGTNADC01) using Tools\Set Central Administration Server with no issue. However, when I restart the services after the admin server is setup the Backup Exec Device & Media service never starts and I recieve the following error in the application event log:

The Backup Exec Device and Media Service could not connect to the specified database. Ensure that the specified database is running, and then try starting the service again. If this is a remote database, also ensure that the firewall is properly configured.
Any idea what may be causing the error? Different software version?
