When will Veritas support X64 processors (Non Itanium)

Just wondering if Veritas is working on supporting remote agents on non-Itanium X64 CPUs?

Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 supports remote Windows 2003 64 bit computers. Though Backup exec cannot be installed on the 64 bit computer , but remote agent can definitely be installed. For more reference check the Software Compatibiltiy List:
