Where can i locate the exe for SAP Agent 12.5????

Hi people,

I currently have Backup exec 12.5 installed on one of my servers.
Am currently trying to push the Sap agent 12.5 to my oracle server but appears to be installing 11.5 as when the backup runs i get an error about it being the wrong version! And when i go into Add remove programs on the oracle server and click for more info on the Backup exec agent it says its 11.5

The license is for 12.5 so dont know why this is happening?
Has anyone else experienced these issues?
If someone could point me in the direction of where i could locate the exe i would be gratful.

However do you know where the serial is located that i need to enter on here?
For some reason its not accepting any that i have?

If you have a serial that is not working, you need to contact Symantec Licensing

You can refer the second link, for downloading trialware and download the SAp agent from trailware  download.

I had a look on trialware site but the only sap download on there is for macs.
I downloaded the trial version of 12.5 again and compared the installation package to 12 and 11d.
SAPS is not located anyware in this download? Or has SAPS been replaced by something else?

I believe the serial does work as all i have done is upgraded from 11d to 12.5
What the problem appears to be is that there is no option to install SAP.
Its not even in the install directory as it was with previous versions?
If anyone knows where it is located or how to install could you please let me know!!

Well you downloaded the complete Backup exec install files and what you need is just the Sap agent . ... There is sperate download file for the Sap agent

I believe there is but this isnt available via trialware, the only available saps dowload on there is (Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows Servers Linux/Unix/Macintosh/SAP Agents) which is for macs, im running Windows Server 2003.

that is the one you need to download .. Tehn just perform the following steps
1) Copy SAP Agent Directory to Remote SAP Server
2) Run the Installation with Setup.exe
3) Copy Windows Remote Agent to Remote SAP Server
4) Run the setupaa.cmd
5) Run SetupAOFO.cmd as well for enabeling AOFO

I think the Symantec site have made that more complicated then it should be!
They should have included sap in the backup exec application download as they did with older versions. And if that isnt bad enough they put the linux os download and the ms download on the same link! Oh well thanks to you its working now so i shouldnt complain!
