Hi

Does anyone know if it is quicker backup 1 very large 100GB file or a lot of small files that in total make up 100GB?

All other things being equal, the single file should backup faster.

Hi,

Single file will be faster but even it is depend upon many other factors as well. e.g
1. backup with Advance Open file option or not
2. its a remotely located file or local ?
3. what is the file type ?
