I have the same problem as mentioned in this article
I have domain account that is service account which is used to run all Backupexec services.
The backupjob is failing to backup 'system state' data. Per my debug log just as found in this article, it is switching from domain\useraccount to local\useraccount.
1. i ran pwdbedit.exe and confirmed that the system state data is set to use domain\useraccount
2. i deleted bewinui.uni file, restarted services, but didn't fix the prb
I see that the local\useraccount is a custom created per our company's naming standards, so its not a backupexec administrator account
Shoudl I have to recreate all backup jobs? or should i have to uninstall and reinstall backupexec 8.6?
or is there a registry entry i could modify?
please help me to force backup job to look for domain\useraccount instead of local account.
