Hi,
Im running a deduplication backup from my backup server with client side deduplication ( has good specs) the backup server from where im starting this job has lower specs and give the following alert:
This computer does not have enough physical memory to support deduplication disk storage. 1.5GB of physical memory is required for each 1TB of deduplication disk storage, with a minimum requirement of 8GB of physical memory.
Can i ignore this since im doing client side deduplication?
Thanks,
LEVD

...I would stick with the recommendation. The media server is still going to be involved at some stage, especially when it comes to doing a restore which rehydrates at source (media server).
Thanks!
