backup excessively slow

I have a problem in to occasions i did a restore if a tape, later i try to make a backup in the same tape but the process is excessively slow, pass 9 hours and only backed 256 KB.
please help me

We would like to konw whether this problem appears only when you backup from a tape from which restore operation is performed recently?

On what status does the job hang?

Are there any errors in the event logs?

Hi,
Yes, This problem appears only when you backup from a tape from which restore operation is performed recently

The status of the job is running for long hours

There area not any errors in the event logs, but is very slow.
