backup exec 12.5 hardware compression problem

Hello again.I have enable hadware compression in my scheduled job and i have test my device for hardware compression but still i can't get it to work.I use HP USB 160 GB device.Any help please?

Some data cannot be compressed, like mp3 or jpg. Can you try with the HP LTT if your drive is working fine? Also with the tool you can update the firmware if one is available.

Is it possible that backup exec doesn't support hardware compression with that usb device?Because with the HP LLT i can see hardare compression enabled.The are different kind of data in my backup i will exclude all mp3 and jpg and try
