backup exec stuck every few weeks

I got a backupexec 2012 installed on server 2008 which is DC&GC. Tge abive is backing up 5 serversv 2 DC's + 1 Exchange 2010 + 2 other servers to network share. All is working fine jobs are finished successfully but every couple of weeks jobs are stuck in queded cant cancel them. I need to restart backupexec services a few times thats the only thing that helps. Need your techinical help. P.s we wont to upgrade to backupexec 15 and move it to a new 2012 server witout lossing database and configration any guide on how to achive that ? Im a newbie with this software.

This is a multi-step process as you would have to update the new name in the database and upgrade the database schema as well. This process will move the Data & Catalogs.

And regarding licenses, if the new BE server is working fine post the steps above, uninstall the licenses from the old server and just install them on the new one.

...chances are good that you have no media available to overwrite or append too, and this can be confirmed by checking what that alert is.

MOving BE to another server is easy enough.

You'd do the following:

1. Stop the BE services on your current media server and copy the Data/Catalogs folders to another location.

2. Download the BE 2015 ISO image and either mount it with an ISO image application, or burn to DVD. Once done, run the upgrade process.

3. Run LiveUpdate to make sure all the available patches are installed, before push-installing to your remote servers.

Hi i've installed a new 2012 server with diffrent name and backup exec 15 now i need to move all the data, catalogs and deduplication licsense how cant i acomplish it ?
