Here is a good document on redirected restore options  http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO23097 and another on restore by setting job properties http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO23121

Hope this helps

Hello,

i started the restore to a different drive, but it's running slowly ( restore is to a external HDD).

the backp job ran at 3,500 MB/min and the restore is running at 89MB/min.is there any particular reason for that.

Thanks,

Is that external HDD connected to media server or remote server? In either case, Please make sure that it's connected to rear USB port and not optimized for quick removal.

It is connected to remote server and connected to rear USB port .

" not optimized for quick removal."  means ?
