I downloaded this file from Symantec and it does not work. It is for Backup Exec 9,1.
Can someone help me to find another one working.
Thanks, regards.

If the extension of the file is not .exe then rename it and add .exe. Recently we
have noticed that the executables downloaded from the support site are missing
with .exe extension.

4691 is the 9.1. build number - not sure if the download is correct
Can you supply the complete link that you downloaded it from?
The correct download is from
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH29571

Thanks RahulG,

If you download it from this link, the file does not work, once deowloaded you have no Icon frm the file.
If the file is OK you have an Icon with an opening box.

I'd skip SP4a and go straight to SP5 at

Thanks Ken for the link but it gives me the messge forbidden.
I do not mind skipping SP4.

Looks like the site won't allow you to go straight to the Document, so..\
Go to the Main Product Support page at http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=landing&key=15047
On the right side select "downloads"
On the left side select "patches'
In the seach box enter 9.1 SP5
The SP5 Tech Note should be the first result, open it up
About half way down is the "attachments" link, click on that and the download should start

Ken,
I manage the download but it seem the file is not a self extracting file, because once downloaded I can do nothing with it.

its seems some issue with downloading the attchement after Symantec has moved its knowlege base to Inquira ... I had faced similar issues when downloading some hotfixes ...

I gave the solution to AZC rather than Rahul since he was the first to suggest it
