Backup Job is not exchange related, no exchange backup options are selected

No Restore jobs active

Problem:
We Run CRM and out of nowhere the configuration was breaking, we found that the existence of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Setup breakes the configuration and integrated outlook functionality so we deleted the setup key and it started working fine after we reconfigured the user.
It came back, we deleted it again etc.
Eventually we ran a process monitor and noticed that everytime one of our backups ran the key was generated. There is absolutely nothing we can see that would do this automatically that pertains to our configuration.
