V-79-57344-33960 - A log backup was attempted on database VIM_VCDB that is not configured to support log backups. To change the configuration, use the SQL administration tools to set the recovery mode to Full. A new full backup should be performed if this setting is changed before a log backup is run.
V-79-10000-11226 - VSS Snapshot error. The Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) snapshot technology selected returned: "Unexpected provider error". Ensure that all provider services are enabled and can be started. Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.

HI VJ,
Thanks for the reply, i have already created a separate Job to backup the Deduplication Storage to a non local Deduplication device, and deselect the Shadow Copy Components node.....but still not working=(

You should have 2 jobs; one with AOF off to backup your SQL databases and the other job with AOF on for backing up your files.

To backup the DeDupe folder, there are couple of options...
1) Select the DeDupe folder via the Shadow Copy Components node and target it to a device apart from the same DeDupe folder itself.
2) Stop all DeDupe services and select the DeDupe volume itself and this would be like an offline/flat-file backup.

For the second option, it is a recommended way and would AFE exclude any of the files which make up the dedup folder.

AFE should not exclude the DeDupe files. I personally would recommend the first option and not the second one though.
