After installing hotfix 4 I now cannot install any more hotfixes,or even remove the Veritas s/w. The message I get is:-

Configuration data corrupt contact support.

My machine is a windowsXP PC with Veritas Ver 10.0.
The Veritas s/w seams to run ok it just will not update.
Any ideas ?.

-- Was the installation of HF 4 successful?

-- What error do you now get while installing any other hotfixes?

Hi,

HF 4 installed without errors
When I try to install HF 10 I get the same error message:-

The configuration data for this product is corrupt
Contact your support personel.

This is the only error message I get.Message was edited by:
