USB Tape Device - Supported?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether a USB tape drive is supported under Backup Exec Ver 10.

I seem to recall IDE devices NOT being supported in BE & I assume that the USB tape drive is really an IDE drive with a USB bridge.

(The tape drive does appear under Windows Device Manager as normal)

Can anyone confirm whether this is supported??
