delegate rights for restoring files to non domain admins

Hello, I would like to know if there is no way to delegate restore rights to user data to an non Domain admin. I have read the forums and what I can find is that there is no way to do this. Because we are still using windows2000 we can not go higher in versions then bex11.d

We are migrating to windows2K8 an then we are using the 12.5 version of Bex. Is there a way in 12.5 then?

No. There is no way to delegate authority in any version of BE.

Note that BE 12.5 can only use Windows Server 2008 as a media server.  It cannot use Server 2008 R2 as a media server.
