Hello,
I am new to all this and have found some useful information in this tread BUT...

I have a problem now with the new tape library we just purchased...

Hardware...
HP MSL6052 tape library w/ 50 slots and 2 mail slots
4 HP SDLT 600 tape drives
1 HP NSR 1200E FC to SCSI adapter card
Windows 2003 STD server w/ SP1 and all updates
all connected to a Compaq MSA 1000

Software BE 9.1 w/ SP 4a and the updated drivers

BEFORE...
I successfully installed all the software and drivers,
did 1 backup of the "Back-up Server" and an other server...
NO PROBLEMS.

NOW...
I can not do anything...
except... Lock... Initialize... scan...

When I do a back-up TEST RUN it seems to work ok,
When I do a real back-up... the Job Monitor shows...

Queued then Ready...Loading media... then Back to Queued

the Job never finishes or errors out...
when I cancel the job I get a FAILED status...

when I try to do an INVENTORY I get the following error...

Inventory Library 0010 -- The job failed with the following error: The job has reported multiple errors. Please refer to job log for more details.

Hello,

Are there any errors related to the device in the event viewer?
event id 9 or 11?

Thanks,
