errore su backup di macchina virtuale

Ciao,

uso Backup Exec 11d su WinSrv 2003 R2, ultimamente capita che il backup fallisca con questo errore:

Backup- \\pippopluto.retedisney.local\Shadow?Copy?Components  - File system writer VSS
V-79-57344-34110 - AOFO: Initialization failure on: "\\pippopluto.retedisney.local\System?State". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
Snapshot provider error (0xE000FED1): A failure occurred querying the Writer status.
Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.
Writer Name: Registry, Writer ID: {AFBAB4A2-367D-4D15-A586-71DBB18F8485}, Last error: The VSS Writer ran out of memory or resources (0x800423f1), State: Failed during prepare snapshot operation (8).

La macchina "pippopluto" è una macchina virtuale hyper-v con ruolo server Sharepoint. Un'indicazione potrebbe essere il fatto che l'errore non accade se qualche ora prima del backup effettuo il riavvio della macchina virtuale. L'eventID nell'event viewer è il 34113.

Mi sono documentato online ma non ho trovato riscontri per errori identici, potete aiutarmi?

If you are doing backup of hyerv virtual machine and if it is on win2008 r2 11d doesn't support that OS you would have to upgrade to BE2010 to be supported

Yes, he is referrring to the OS of the virtual machine... Although, if the OS of the VM is Windows 2003, please install this VSS patch - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;940349

Lastly, do confirm if there is adequate space on the C:\ for the snapshot.

Yes if it is the OS I amrefferring too considering when you are saying hyperv role so do check the SCL and as rightly said by vjware if it is win2003 then install vss rollpatch for vss issue
