hp dat 72 usb not detected by veritas 10.0

hi ,
i have reinstalled twice using both veritas drivers and hp drivers and still backup exec does not detect my drive?
the drive appears in device manager and i have ran a succesfull backup&restore with ntbackup-no problem
whats going on??its one of the new usb dat 72 drives from hp running on server03
it appears that backup exec is only scanning for scsi drives not usb,yet i have read that version 10.0 works with the usb drives,any help on this would be great

How can he get event log entries if BackupExec doesn't even detect the drive during Hardware Setup??

just to let you all know that i upgraded to 10d ,rebooted and their was my drive ,no bother!,my 10.0 license allowed me to upgrade
