Hi, I have just installed Backup Exec 2010 R2. I'm trying to install Remote Backup EXEC agents on Windows server.

Question:

From where i have to do that?

Any particular reason why you installed R2 and not R3

The agents can be push installed from inside the BE console (Tools menu)

or you can manually install by using the content of the Agents folder below the Program Files area.

Would recommend fully patching the server first (which in part relates to my R3 comment) as if you don't fully patch the server first you wil have to push the agents out again after patching.

easiest way to do it is from Tools -> Install Agents and Media Servers on Other Services... -> Add -> choose hosts -> after that it's very simple
