looking for notification descriptions

Can someone point me to descriptions of the alert notifications for BE12.5?  I would like to know the reason(s) each specific alert occurs so I can advise the operator which actions to take or troubleshoot a device or media in question.

It has details on Chpt. 14 on Alerts.
What you can also do is check on a specific alert...there should be a section there that tells you a little about each one.

I have this document but it is not detailing the conditions that cause the alert.

I have found that under error handling rules, there are specific error codes (i.e., end of media reached, dirty tape, etc.);  When would this occur for the provided alert categories?  There is no way to assign it to an existing alert catagory.  If I create a new error handling rule, how do I assignit to send a SNMP notification?
