I am in the process of evaluating BE11d. Following is my setup:
- IBM TS3100 attached directly to ndmp based storage server (IBM N3700) running netapp ONTAP release 7.2.2. with ndmp verion 4.
- I have several windows 2003 R2 based servers running services such as Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2005 and Sharepoint Server 2007.
- I run BE Server on Windows 2003 R2 server.
I am able to backup data on ndmp storage server (ie iSCSI and CIFS shares) but when i try take backup of data on windows server (ie non-ndmp data) on the same tape library, i get the following error message
"Jobs with non-ndmp selections cannot be targeted to an ndmp device"
How do i fix this issue? Need help.
