problems restoring system state in w2k prof enviroment

jose_valera
Not applicable
I'm trying to restore a systems state in a w2k prof machine; the destination machine has the same operating system like the source, and it isn't in a domain only in a group, the name of the machine is the like the original.

When I restore the system state , the proces create 3 folders; registry, boot and com + registration classes but the registry is not restored with the backed system.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
How similar is the hardware to the original? Normally the system state contains information specific to the machine and cannot be redirected to another machine.
