For some reason our backup jobs are struggling. This started happening last week and I've only just managed to get a job completed, but even that one has completed "with exceptions".
There appears to be a problem with the Advanced Open File Option (AOFO). When my job completes I get the following in the event log and job history:
Backup Exec Alert: Job Completed with Exceptions
(Server: "DL1") (Job: "CENTRAL BACKUP") The job completed successfully. However, the following conditions were encountered:
A snapshot operation required by this job was unsuccessful. Check the job log and the Windows Event Viewer for additional information.
I have tried setting the AOFO option to be automatically selected by BackupExec but get the same thing. We are running BackupExec 10d with SP2 and Hot fix 43 installed.
Can anyone help?
