run cleaning tape on a drive

hi,
how can i run a cleaning tape on a drive?
I have a MSL4048 with two drives and the symantec backup exec 12.5.
Slot 48 is cleaning slot.
If i do a right click on one drive and click clean is not cleaning with the tape from slot 48!
I can´t find a option to run a cleaning job with the cleaning tape!

For a loader/library, you need to define one slot as a cleaning slot (right click the slot and select cleaning)

Then you should be able to create a "Cleaning " job which will pull the cleaning cartridge from the specified slot.  (Remember to change the cartridge after the recommended number of jobs)


(For a standalone drive,  you would just insert the cleaning cartridge and let it run, normally about 30-40 seconds or so)

Make sure that your cleaning tape is labeled correctly.  Do a scan or an inventory on the cleaning slot depending on whether you are using barcode labels or not.  Check that the cleaning tape label begins with CLN.

Right-click on the library and select clean.  A cleaning job will pop up.

ok, but the cleaning tape is not moving to the drive if i run the cleaning job! there is no tape inside the drive when the job is running.
