running 2 devices with 1 install

Hello,

Currently we are running BE v10 on 2 sepparate servers, with 2 HP LTO', backing up diffirent data/servers  

I am looking to install BE 11 to our systems, but i'm looking to simplify things.
Is it possible to install 1 copy on 1 server and run 2 jobs the same time, with 1 tapedrive located in another server ?
Would this cause any performance problems ?

So it would be something like this

server 1 - HP LTO 1
server 2 - HP LTO 2

Server 2 has installed V11 and has 2 backup jobs, starting at 11pm
-job 1, with LTO1, backing up data from 4 servers
-job 2, with LTO2, backing up server 2 who hosts the exchange 2003

The 2nd tape drive would need to either be attached via SAN or an NDMP device for this to work. Otherwise no.

You will either need use the same configuration you are using with 10d or possible move the 2nd tape drive to the primary server.
