I have symantec backup exec v12 deployed in a win 2003 32 bit server environment.  I am adding a win 2008 64 bit server.  Is a Backup exec v12 remote agent available for this new server.

Yes, BE 12.0 supports Win 2008 (though not R2). If its R2, BE 12.5 offers only Remote Agent support, whereas BE 2010 & above offers full compatibility.
