take long time to backup restore

I've scheduled Linux server to backup using Backup Exec 2012. backing up process is running perfectly.

I'm having a requirment to restore data. then i followed restoring process. under what do you want to restore step i've choosed File and Folder Backup. after that it shows that Querying for data. now it's passed 24 hours also. is it possible or abnormal ?

please advise me.

Hi,  make sure that Backup Exec is updated with all of the Live Updates as well as the updated agents installed on the remote servers.

What is the Linux variant of the problem server?  Check the SCL below to make sure it is supported.

What is the latest updated installed ?

Are there any Catalog or ODBC errors logged in the event viewer ? Does cataloging the storage device prior to the restore help ?

i cancle it and restarted the server.

then retried. it worked.
