I am running Version 12.0 Rev 1364 and we frequently receive the following errors backing up to disk:
1. Satus: Failed, final error 0xe00084f4 an unknown error has occured. Final error category: system errors.
V-79-57344-3406 - An unknown error has occurred.
A selection on device \servername\drive or utiltiy partition etc. was skipped because of previous errors with the job
2. Status Failed, final error 0xe00084f0 - the device timed out. Final error category: backup device errors
an unknown error occured on device "backup folder name"
V-79-57344-3402 - the device timed out.
These errors wipe out a dozen or so backups at a time. They appear to all go within a minute or two of each other. Then we have another dozen or so that start after the error and then complete successfully. Can anyone offer advice on these errors? We are backing up from windows 2003 onto windows 2003.
