update to catalog file failed

Due to hard disk space problem last week i moved the catalog files to other drive and now its keep giving me following error in event view

34327 update to catalog index failed with reason: item not found.

34334 catalog server reported DAO error (3265 item not found)

34326 Access to catalog index failed.

i can still see the catalog files in the new location, i also restart the server so that the new path for catalog can be updated.

i would appreciate if any one can help me solve this problem.

Did you change the catalogs location from Tools\Options\Catalog?

Have yo double checked that you typed the path correctly?

Yes i changed the path through option but after the restart i can see the path and also see the catalog files in that particular folder but when i have to restore through media it cannot see any thing.

please help me to resolve this issue

Might have somehow corrupted the index
