I have a working setup with 1 BE 10d server and 3 remote servers being backed up. I recently installed BE 12 on a new server with new tape device and would like to get the 3 remote servers switched over to using the new BE12 server from the 10d server. Is there a easy wau to do that? Or should I just uninstall the remote client from the servers and then add the v12 client to them? thanks.
Go ahead and push install the remote agents on the remote servers, no need to uninstall the remote agents for BE10d. The BE10d remote agent will be upgraded to BE12. It will prompt you to upgrade.
