v8.6 - Windows XP - Unable to attach

Running Windows 2000 server, Veritas 8.6 build 3878. Added a Windows XP machine with service pack 2. Backup agent is installed. When performing a backup, Veritas keeps stating :
Unable to attach to \\Acer33

Acer 33 is the Windows XP computer.

How do I troubleshoot this problem?
