What version did they decide to remove Remote Administrator from the SBS Ed.? I "upgraded" from ver 8.6 to 11d only to be greeted with error message "Small Business Server Edition does not support remote connections." I don't know about others, but it makes me extremely unlikely to upgrade again in the future when features are taken away.

Actually it was never a design feature that was meant to work, but the design change that eliminated the ability was made between 10d and 11d. As an alternative you can connect to a remote Media Server from another BE Server.
