x64 Agent with MSSQL2000-Cluster

Hi Everybody,
Excuse me my bad English, I am a German boy.
I have a problem with Agent for Windows under x64 Windows.
I have installed a w2k3 Ent. x64 R2 Cluster with SQL Server 2000 SP4
RAWS is also installed on booth nodes from Cluster. (bedssql2.dll version 10.1.5628.13)
I can backup any files on the Cluster but I cannot backup the SQL Server on the Virtual host
When I try to select the SQL Server on the Virtual Host I don?t see it.
When I look to the network services, BE-Server connect to the IP-Address from the nodeA and not to the virtual IP-address
The beremoteXX.log writes following:

06/20/06 11:51:35 \\ATSQL21 is clustered
06/20/06 11:51:35 \\ATSQL21 is not a node name
06/20/06 11:51:36 Clustered drives on \\ATSQL21

...
06/20/06 11:51:53 SQL2_CreateTempDLE - look for a default instance.
06/20/06 11:51:53 SQL2_CreateTempDLE - the SQL Service is running on ATSQL21.
06/20/06 11:51:53 Opened CurrentVersion registry key.
06/20/06 11:51:53 Opened Wow64 CurrentVersion registry key.
06/20/06 11:51:53 Retrieved Wow64 CurrentVersion data.
06/20/06 11:51:54 isClusterOK returning 0
06/20/06 11:51:54 SQL2_CreateTempDLE - Default SQL 2000 detected, but not cluster ok.

ATSQL01 Is the name of the virtual resource SQL.
Anybody any ideas
Thank you

Hello Walter,
Could you tell us what type of a Processor is used on the cluster 64-bit machines?

Hallo Walter,

Have you done the host entries?

Are you backing up from unter the Virtual servername?

Is it a 2 node cluster?

When i looking to the cluster with an TCP View tool i see that the backup server trys to connect but not on the Virtual IP. Its try to connect to the node IP but there is no port 1433 for the SQL server available!

I think the Backup Client ignore the cluster config

Can I set it hardcoded over the registry?
Many thanks

Hi Walter,
Hotfix 37 might be what you need - http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/285069.htm

What issue does this hotfix resolve?
SQL: Can't see the SQL 2000 icon on an x64 cluster

09/21/06 10:52:27 SQL2_FindDrives - the default SQL Service appears to be SQL 2000.
09/21/06 10:52:27 Found SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MICROSOFT\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQLServer in the registry.
09/21/06 10:52:27 isClusterOK returning 0
09/21/06 10:52:27 SQL2_FindDrives - Sorry, not cluster OK.

Any ideas?
I think that the agent don't accept the SQL Server as Cluster!

Thanx!
