I am trying to setup a Veritas Cluster on Solaris 10 (on fresh OS) using Veritas Storage Foundation 4.1 for Oracle RAC. During the software installation of VERITAS STORAGE FOUNDATION FOR ORACLE RAC 4.1, "115209-16" & "115210-16" patches are not getting installed in both the nodes.
The error message says -
# pkgadd -d 115209-16

1 package was not processed!
When I run "/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/chk_sfrac_pkgs", I get version mismatch for VRTSvlic & VRTSperl. I have a later version of these two packages. But I am using the same package that I got from Veritas.
I ignored the this error and configured I/O fencing. After I rebooted the systems, cluster is not getting formed and the node (from where I installed the Veritas software) is not coming up or keeps on rebooting.
I am following the exact steps mentioned in the documentation CD. I have done the similar configuration using VERITAS STORAGE FOUNDATION FOR ORACLE RAC 4.0 on Solaris 8 and the cluster is working absolutely fine.
1. If anyone has the exact steps to setup Veritas cluster using VERITAS STORAGE FOUNDATION FOR ORACLE RAC 4.1 on Solaris 10, please forward that to me.
2. When should I install Array Support Library?
3. Any other precautions that I need to do the installation.
4. If there is Veritas Cluster Guru located at Bangalore, INDIA who has this configuration, please contact me.
