Problem to create Disk Resource>Volumes with out I/O Fencing

Dear all,

I am new with VCS, and trying to build 2 nodes Cluster over Linux  Virtual Machines. This testing is mandatory before switch in to Production.

I have already installed and licensed the product. A default cluster group has defined with IP, NIC and Webapp resource.

Successful Failover of default resource group has been tested.

Right now I have objective to create a Disk Resource group  with 4 volumes in ext3 format. 2 of each volume will online on each node, and will fail over to alternative node in case of any disaster.
I dont wana use coordinator disks, and only want to create  disk resources as per requirements.
Please suggest me minimum resource config requirements.

Also help me to build the required resources with out setting up I/O fencing or coordinator disks.

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Zearik

Hi,

you need to setup 2 Service groups like this

1SG -> DG1 resource->2VolumeResource->2MountResource (online on 1 node)
     |^
      -> NIC res -> Ip resource -> wepapp resource  (you can create resources & dependecies as pwe your requirements )

Similary create 2nd SG -> DG2 resource.......same as above
