VCS and Vmware configuration

Hello,

I was planning to do experiment  by running solaris (x86) and linux on vmware.  In the vcenter how do I assign  a datastore to 2 nodes or how do I assign  RDM to 2 nodes. Is it possible? I would like to use RDM or VMDK as shared disk for my cluster.

Thanks in advance.

I've found the following links to be quite useful for accomplishing CVM capable shared virtual (VMDK) and physical partitions (RDM):

Storage Foundation Cluster File System HA on VMware VMDK Deployment Guide

In there you will find additional useful pointers:

Using Veritas Cluster File System (CFS) in VMware virtualized environments

CFS and VMware Deployment Guide VMDKs v10.pdf

From those documents I've hacked out how to make it work for Linux VMs under VMware Fusion for any OS X users out there; let me know if anybody wants the procedure.
