vcs upgrade

Hi all,

I am planning to upgrade vcs, vxvm and vxfs , where we have vvr running also . I need some help on the bellow. I am not going to upgrade vvr.

1.I have the license information , so this is not required.

2.Can some help me on technical things , do i have to remove RDS (vvr) at the time of upgrading .

3.How to do the manaul upgrade of vcs .

Hello,

VVR code is built in VXVM, so if you are upgrading VXVM, ofcourse VVR will be upgraded..

Should not need to remove RDS...

You can only upgrade VCS using installvcs script, but I would better suggest to upgrade all the products at the same time....
