DI version 6.6 vs DI6.5.2

Pix_R

Since the RP2 came out (2023-09-25) for the 6.5 version after 6.6 was released (Release date: 2023-09-04) are we able to assume the newest version contains the fixes for the prior version which were back ported or should we anticipate a HF1 for 6.6?

Above mentioned 6.5.2 Fixes are not part of DI 6.6

Expect HotFix on top of 6.6 in near future, with all above mentioned issues.

Thank you Raghav.

Do we know when the Defect we discovered and alerted Veritas to on the 6.6DI version failing to recognize whether the capability to use REST for Netapp will be ported to 6.5, since the issue exists since 6.5.1?
(CFT-5827 I believe)

We expect the downtime duration to exceed our limitations to upgrade twice to get to 6.5 and then 6.6 in a single window for index upgrades and face this impediment as well.

Hey Rod, Apologies for the delay.

Issue CFT-5827 is ported in DI 6.6.1. However fix is not part of DI 6.5.2. If user upgrades from 6.5.1 to 6.5.2 then they will experience same NetApp issue. Instead of going to 6.5.2 user can prefer DI 6.6.1

DI 6.6.1 is available for download on Download Center.
