If permissions are changed on a public folder after it has been archived previously, do the archived folders get this new permissions applied to them? I am told that if the user uses Outlook to look at the archived items, the permissions apply but if he uses archive explorer, the user will be able to bypass the existing permissions and be able to review items there since the new permissions are not applied to the archives themselves. Is this right?
Also, if we have a new employee added to a public folder permissions list, does that user get permission to the archived items automatically both through outlook and archive explorer?
